Higher Learning Commission LogoWe have observed the growing number of you who are taking our online courses, and we would like you to be able to take entire degrees online.  So, we have been working toward getting some of our full degrees officially approved to be offered online.  The first step in that process was approval from the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board, which the College received last October.  The next and last step is to receive approval from our accrediting agency the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).

The HLC will have a Team of visitors here on campus on Monday, February 28 to review our online learning program.  We hope that the result of the visit will be a recommendation for approval.

One of the groups that the visiting Team wants to talk to is you, our students, even if you’ve never taken an online course—but especially if you have. The meeting will be in the John Eisele Auditorium of the Dierks Nursing and Health Sciences Building at 1:00 p.m.

Please take a few minutes that day, join our HLC visitors, and share your experiences.

For more information about the re-accrediation process, visit http://www.npcc.edu/About/Reaccreditation/reaccreditation_process.htm.
