Poetry Submission

Submitted by Mahesh Patil:

when the charm becomes so cute,

the flower becomes the fruit .

beauty on her ance,

beingness is romance.

some time i spend with the blacks widow ,

some time apart me i feel my shadow .

there the dark

seems no-one

close your eyes

go find the sun.

touching the light is the secret art,

love arise deep in the heart…………..

By: Minnette Santarcangelo

Fields of sunflowers dancing through my mind

Wooden hearts pulsate, feral to the core

The hand on my belly, cords sizzling, sways to the rhythm

Holding hands drifting with the evening’s breeze

Exploring the unknown reveals bounded desires

Dimensional petals slowly open, synergy flows, pleasures unfold

Spicy tongues indulge, surrender to the night’s mystical call

The drapes fall, peace claims all

“How My Garden Grows”

Submitted by Doug Phillips:

My garden grows from experience. I worked with plants professionally for fifteen years. I started at a large wholesale nursery and then moved into the retail and landscaping business. When I moved back home to Arkansas, my place had some land, so I decided to have a garden. After twenty years plus of research, the following are the methods that have worked for me.

The first step in planting a garden is where to plant. We will want to get out a compass and find out which direction is south. Next, find a sunny spot with southern exposure. We have lots of trees, so make sure the garden will not be shaded when the trees are fully leafed out. Personally, I like some shade in the afternoon because we have such hot summers. This can be obtained by having some shade on the west-side.

Samples from “Color Photography”

Submitted by Lezley Cochran:

“Jessica Mansilla turned in this assignment. The goal of the project was to replicate the artistic style of a painting using modern technology including Photoshop, a Nikon digital camera, and studio lighting. She successfully demonstrated a firm grasp of contrast and proper lighting, as well as good composition. Jessica utilized Paul Cezanne as her inspiration.”
